IO Stats

The RPS servers (Real Private Server) are dedicated servers with no hard disk.
The data is stored on SAN (Storage Area Network) and is accessible by iSCSI technology.

Each customer shares the SAN storage with other customers. With QoS management among all RPS and SAN, each RPS has a powerful storage infrastructure, secure and scalable up to 1TB per RPS.

In order to follow the quality of your storage space, statistics related to it is available in your manager.

The "iostat" (Input/Output statistics) allows you to know in real time the load of your storage space in the SAN.

This specific monitoring for the RPS servers is divided in to two parts:

  • A graphic showing the number of Input/Outputs per second.
    • Number of requests successfully processed by the infrastructure
  • A graphic showing the "service time" in milliseconds.
    • Average execution time of the requests

You can now get these statistics in your Manager in the section: Server state.
