RPS Flexibility : "live migration"

The RPS is based on a unique system where all your data is stored on a remote infrastructure (SAN).
While totally transparent to use (the storage is seen as a hard disk) and perfectly secure, it is a solution that can change the server in minutes just by clicking!

So, you can start with an RPS 1, and then easily evolve to an RPS 3, for example, and then go to RPS 2.
You keep your IP and you do nothing to change your configuration.

Implementation

You already have an RPS 1 and you want to 'migrate' to an RPS 2, for example.

You go to the Manager in 'Migrate my RPS', you can control your future RPS 2. Within minutes, you will receive confirmation of the availability of your new RPS 2. But in fact, migration has not started, you decide exactly when you want to switch on the RPS 2.
When you're ready, you run the migration. You follow the real-time operations from the manager:

• 1. We conduct audits of access prior to migration
• 2. We test the proper operation of your system by doing a soft reboot with your current RPS 1
• 3. Only at this stage that the migration process itself begins: We stop your RPS 1
• 4. We start your new RPS 2 with your data

Your new RPS is operational, the time to cut your service will not exceed 3 minutes. Finally, you can choose to order a new free storage space and a new IP address for your RPS 1 (you now have 2 separate servers RPS) or you are claiming for reimbursement of the remaining time before your RPS 1 (in form of points).
