Content Delivery Network (CDN)

Cache rules

CDN : Content Delivery Network | Cache Rules

The principle of the CDN is to cache some elements of your website, as explain on this other page, in order to speed up the delivery of the content to your users, wherever they're located in the world.

Which elements are affected and by which rules?

Caching is customised.

Any file on the disk space can be cached, as long as it doesn't exceed the maximum size limit. The decision to be applied to a file depends on the rules dictated by the customer in the configuration of their infrastructure AND the customised backend rules, as defined in the OVH Control Panel.

File size: There is no size limit for any of our PoPs.
