Additional information

(1) Veeam Backup is only compatible with vSphere 4.1, 5.0, 5.1, 5.5 and 6.0.

The solution requires the creation of a virtual machine based on Windows, which will be:
- Included if you have a Windows Datacenter licence
- Billed 20.00 /month if you don't have a Windows Datacenter licence

You need to activate HA and DRS services to create the Windows VM. This VM will then follow the DRS affinity rules defined by you.

Backups are created at night according to the following process:

The OVHVeeamServer creates daily managed backups on selected VMs. The management VLAN in your infrastructure transmits your data to your Repository, which is mounted in RAID and entirely managed by the OVH teams. With this additional storage, you can continue to benefit from the useful space in your datastores!
