Your questions answered

What's the difference between the VPS 2014 and VPS 2016 ranges?

The VPS 2016 models give you better performance levels and increased availability. The underlying infrastructure now comes with much more powerful drives (SSD, NVMe) and a modern software layer which makes it significantly easier to manage the infrastructure's availability. As a result, you get an improved quality of service for both personal and professional use.

Do they come with all the features of an OVH VPS 2014?

All the services that made the OVH VPS 2014 range so successful have of course been carried over to the new range. Install, configure, manage & automate your VPS via the OVH Control Panel or API, root access, KVM or rescue mode. The backup and geolocation options will be available soon in the Control Panel. We will announce their release on this page.

How much is a VPS 2016?

We now have two ranges, both with 3 models (no longer 4) available from 2.99 to 29.99 , excluding the cost of a Windows licence (available as an additional option with the Cloud VPS). We will soon launch a third range to offer you even more choice. We will announce its release on this page.
